Muscles aching: 85% of these types of pain are related to muscles. Unfortunately, the other 15% can be infection and disease processes. Please get to a dentist for an appropriate diagnosis!

Tooth vs jaw: Could be an infected tooth. TMJ (jaw joint problem), could be sinus infection. Rare cases is heart problem, other problems. I'd start with an exam by your dentist, he will point you in the right direction.
