Can muscle relaxants destroy muscle tissue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not believe so: I am not aware of any scientific study thatprove or disprove the theory that muscle relaxants destroy muscle tissue. They are many different muscle relaxants and each one has particular side effects related to they chemical properties, however I do not believe that destroing muscle tissue is one of them.
