Was wondering where does gas exchange occur in the pulmonary system?

Alveoli: At the very end of your airways is a small air sac called alveoli. Your lungs are made of hundreds of millions of alveoli. Each alveoli is bordered by tiny blood vessels and it is at this junction that gas exchange occurs. Hope this helps!
