Shouldn't: Best to seek treatment and spend your efforts on recovery. Otherwise, you run the risk of more severe damage and longer layoff. Ask if cycling is ok as you recover. This way you maintain muscle tone and strength as well as aerobic fitness. Be Wise. Good Luck.

Not recommended: The hamstring strains are the most likely to become chronic if not treated properly. See your PCP for evaluation and treatment.
