A member asked:

Can you tell me when someone is having a stroke what are the symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sudden event: A rapid appearance of unilateral weakness, numbness, loss of vision, or even double vision, incoordination, or other sudden neurological changes, may be a sign of an impending stroke. Especially if risk factors such as diabetes, smoking, hypertension, high blood lipids, heart disease are uncontrolled. Some pts with migraine can experience stroke-like events. Your doc can sort out.
