Transient ischemia: A TIA might be considered a mini-stroke, but it is typically transient lasting about 20-30 min. One might experience loss of speech, dizziness, unilateral weakness and/or numbness, perhaps unilateral loss of vision, maybe double vision, imbalance, etc. Variable in view of variations of brain circulation.
