A member asked:

I know one of the symptoms of a stroke is vision problems. could somesone tell me what exactly happens?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blockage: Blood flow to portions of brain is blocked, and distal tissue dies. If it affects arteries to eyes, loss of vision occurs. Maybe affects visual pathways or radiations or even occipital lobe, and thus, loss of vision in parts of visual field. So, best approach is prevention.
