A member asked:

Can you tell me when a person stops smoking will their face go back to not looking so old and saggy?

Depends: On how much damage to collagen has been done. For the most part, when fibrous tissue has been damaged and scarred, that does not go back to normal. There are facial exercises, topical treatments and surgical procedures that can help. A cosmetic dermatologist would be your best bet. If you have stopped, congrats and stay quit! if you havent, it's time to get involved in a smoking cessation program.
