High Hgb and RBC Hct: Hemoblobin and hemotocrit refer to the amount of red blood cells in your body when measured in a special machine called a Coulter Counter. HIgh Hb and high Hematocrit (Hct) is often non significant but it can on rare occasions indicate a problem wiht the bone marrow or even or lungs, but these are quite uncommon.
