Hello docs! can you tell me what disease could make you need an organ transplant?

Depends: Its organ specific.....always the degree of damage to that particular organ will determine and will vary from organ to organ......heart, lung, liver, pancreas, kidneys, small bowel, bone marrow etc......sometime more than one organ transplanted......and that will depend concomitant damage .....example....kidney with pancreas in type one diabetes because of end stage renal disease
