My motherinlaw had kidney transplant 2days ago,she is well and walking around hospital. today doc said her creatinine level is 150, what does it mean?

Talk to the doc: That is a very high creatinine level, are you sure it's not 1.50?? Usually, in the setting after a kidney transplant, creatinine level is monitored to assess for signs of rejection of the new kidney. Typically, if the creatinine gets much above the patient's baseline, those are signs of acute rejection, especially if also with fever, decreased urine output, and graft pain/tenderness.

Creatinine 150 or: Was her 2-day post-transplant creatinine "150" or 1.50 mg/dl; creatinine of 150 mg/dl is the high number I have never seen, so, is it a mistake in decimal?; 1.5 mg/dl indicates her newly transplanted kidney is working reasonably well, but too early to say. I wish she will do well to take the new kidney well as being life-saving.
