See Your Doctor: 6 yr old with "red pimple like blisters...around mouth". Blisters around mouth can be seen with skin infections both bacterial and viral. While viruses are self-limited, bacteria are not and require antibiotics to treat. Both are contagious. Diagnosing skin lesions is difficult without physical inspection. See your doctor for correct diagnosis and treatment.
