Yes in certain cases: Lyme is not easily transmitted but there is strong evidence that it can be transmitted in utero from mother to baby & it can be transmitted via blood transfusions. However, whether it can be sexually transmitted is controversial. Lyme has not been proven to be sexually transmitted, but it hasn't been disproven either. While there is not yet clear evidence of sexual transmission it may be possible.
