Do people who suffer impaired cognition as a result of a brain tumor recover their faculties?

Sometimes: T the impaired cognition associated with a brain tumor can be due to many causes-----if it is merely swelling in critical areas without true tumor invasion then treatment of the tumor and the swelling can restore the impairments. However, it is also possible that the tumor itself or sadly, therapy used to treat the tumor, can produce irreversible damage. Your doctor can help to sort this out.

Some: Unfortunately usually some permanant brain injury occurs during removal of the malignancy, but with effort improvement can be made with cognition and motor skills.
