Ct brain: In most practices, if there is a major finding like brain tumor or brain edema or swelling, radiologist will communicate with the ordering physician same day and the patient will be communicated the results or directed to er based upon the clinical situation.

depends: Ct scan interpretations are usually available to the ordering physician the same day, at the latest the next working day. How quickly your physician informs you of the results is highly variable, unfortunately, and can't be predicted without knowing the habits of the individual physician you have.
