The main question: Is why you have insomnia in the first place. What evaluations have you had for this? There are many causes -- and although the seroquel and Ambien (zolpidem) may knock you out, this does not get to the root cause of your problem. Also, Ambien (zolpidem) is habit-forming, and in time you'll need more medication for the same effect. You might consider seeing a sleep medicine physician for evaluation.
