A and E: I am not sure what a;e would be. I do know that sometimes these "cysts" which are usually sebaceous cysts (inflamed oil glands), will not get better with antibiotics and must be surgically removed (minor procedure).

Need for evaluation: If you have been on antibiotics for a couple of days and the lesion is still painful you should see your doctor again as the lesion may need to be drained. It is not feasible to provide a more meaningful opinion without examining the lesion.
