Stop worrying: White cell values (total and individual cell types) fluctuate tremendously even from hour to hour. Fifteen minute in a cold shower can raise the white count from 8000 to 20000. The reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks must fall outside on either end. Only extreme deviations or the presence of abnormal cells are worth looking at.
