Bumps appeared on outer thighs and lower leg ! what could this be :(?

More info: Did these appear suddenly all at once? Are they itchy? Are they red? If so they could be hives or insect bites. Are they painful nodules? Hives will clear in a day but reappear elsewhere. A physician will have to diagnose them unless allergy medications clear them rapidly.
