A member asked:

I have a lump/bump on the lower side on my leg on both legs. what may this be and what may be the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lumps: If the lumps are quite similar in character, size and are on the same location on each leg, they probably are benign and nonpathological. However a physician would have to examine the lumps in order to make a diagnosis. A nonsymetrical Lump in the lower leg may be a varicose vein, inclusion cyst or even small herniation of tissue through a muscle.
