Knee pain?: Hi DJose, if I understand your description, and the pain is just below the knee cap, it could be patellar tendonitis ( runners knee). Rest is imperative as well as anti inflammatories. When the pain and swelling improve, there are some physical therapy exercises you can do. First, see your doctor. if he confirms, then there are some exercises that can decrease the chances of chronic pain.
