Antibody deficiency: Humoral immunity refers to the arm of the immune system that makes antibodies. Deficiencies of humoral immunity include common variable immunodeficiency, IgA deficiency, agammaglobulinema, and others. These are the most common immunodeficiencies we see. Symptoms typically include susceptibility to bacterial respiratory infections, but immunity to viruses is usually ok. See an immunologist for info.
