Remove diseased GB: Biliary colic occurs when a stone tries to exit the gallbladder. Stones form from stone-prone bile and/or damaged gallbladder, with poor emptying. Stimulus is usually fatty foods. If stone gets stuck along the way to the small bowel, can cause problems with infection, or inflammation of gallbladder. Remove gallbladder if stones cause symptoms, you are diabetic, or certain other conditions. C md.
