Diuretics ; travel: Probably not a good idea to withhold medications - especially while traveling: we tend to over-indulge, and with prolonged sitting tend to pool fluid in the lower extremities. He's better off with the inconvenience of frequent voiding.

Generally, yes.: This is a frequent practice. Would not expect BP to rise a great deal or remain elevated for very long as the result of missing a dose or two of lasix (furosemide). This could be a problem with poorly compensated heart failure, but not likely significant with htn.
