Can taking lasix (furosemide) and hydrochlorothiazide cause low blood pressure?

Yes: HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide) is a very weak diuretic that is very good for Hypertension and sometimes, the first drug used. Lasix (furosemide) is a stronger diuretic better used for congestive heart failure than for hypertension.
