Antibiotic pkd: Depends upon where the infection resides. For a kidney infection, take ciprofloxacin. For respiratory infection, take azithromycin. For bowel infection, cipro and flagyl. For skin infection, cephalosporin. Avoid gentamicin, bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) other sulfa.
