Testing Stool: There is little to worry here except that it sounds like your stool was formed. Formed stool is not usually diagnostic of infections or other reasons for the sending a stool sample to the lab. If the lab is for blood in the stool, then formed stool is fine. If you are looking for infection then runny or watery stool is needed. If you have formed stool it is unlikely to have infection.
