Need good evaluation: The symptoms you describe could have many causes besides ocd. If it's been a long time since you've had a careful and thorough assessment by an experienced psychologist or psychiatrist, it's time for another consultation with an expert. If it truly is ocd, consider a form of psychotherapy called "exposure and response prevention." that, most likely in combination with medication, should help.

Treatment?: Having ocd for 20 years is painful. You did not mention whether you're receiving treatment for this? Religious obsessions are a common feature in ocd, though it can include many other areas too. I suggest getting a thorough evaluation with a psychiatrist first; working with a psychologist in cognitive behavioral therapy will be an important part of treatment too.
