No: Neither wellbutrin (bupropion) nor zoloft causes physcial dependence to the medication. The vast majority of brain development took place at a young age. These medicine do 'teach' the brain to use and produce neurotransmitters (the chemicals that let brain cells communicate with one another) within the brain more effectively.
