Examination: Please make an appointment with a local oral surgeon. There is no need to guess at what your lesion might be. Trying to diagnose your own condition can prove to be frustrating.

Need exam : To determine the nature of that bump , that could be very normal, excess bone that forms in the middle of the palate on top, and behind the canine areas in the lower jaw, they are called torus maxillaris and torus mandibularis

Could be tori: Hard to say, but there can be outgrowths of the bone on the mandible or maxillae in different areas. Some can grow to be very large and can even interfere with dental impressions and dentures. I would see a dentist and/or oral surgeon to have it checked asap. Could be a cyst, but no way of knowing without a thorough exam and x-rays.

Bumps: Most patient concerns about cancer are unwarranted. That is not to say that you should not find out right away what it is. See an oral surgeon who should be able to quickly determine what it is, if anything needs to be done and allay your concerns and fears. Most cancerous lesions are not as hard as bone so it's probably an exostosis or something else. Call for an appointment today.
