What are the things i should do besides taking anti biotics given by doc for chest infection. can i jog? what should i eat for speedy recovery?

Do not jog.: If you're sick, especially with a respiratory illness, it's better to rest and not overly exert yourself. It's good to walk a little and get the air moving, but i wouldn't go out for a jog. Other things to help: don't smoke, avoid air temperature extremes (too cold or too hot), eat a simple, balanced diet (there's no magic food for recovery). Hope you feel better!

Exercise & infection: Individuals who exercise with infection will almost always have a more severe & prolonged course. Plus no benefits from the activity. Marathoners are five times more likely to get a URI (cold/flu) in the two weeks following their run. Too much stress, both emotional and physical can exacerbate infection. If you push yourself, beware.......
