AVM grades: Avms are graded by their size, location and vascular structure. To determine the grade of your avm you ned to have a digital subtraction angiogram. An mra will not do. Once the grade is established the treatment can be determined. Treatment can range from surgery to embolization with polymers to radiosurgery. Often a combination of of these may be used. Get the angiogram and discuss the options.
