TMD/TMJ: Displacement of the TMJ disc mostly in an anterior or anteromedial position upon closing and return of the disc to a more normal position on opening characterizes disc displacement. You will usually experience a "click" on opening but may not hear a closing click. Rec.: see an orofacial pain specialist for evaluation.
