Son,35,had CBC, & Thyroid was off -TSH was 4.76 (high) & T4 was 1.2 (normal range)-does he need treatment for this? My doc did not give him anything, could this happen from stress? Could it go back on its own? All other results were normal/in range?

Why no doc doesnt want to give me treatment for hashimoto if my TSH is normal?and will hashimoto 100% develop into hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism?
