Bone scan...: Pars fracture typically shows a "scotty dog" on oblique radiograph. Sometimes fracture can show up on bone scan before it shows up on x-ray but it sounds like your injury was a while ago. Have you had a nuclear medicine bone scan or asked about having one? If they do one, it would be helpful for them to do spect imaging.
