A member asked:

I had suffered a klebsiella p infection that went on for several months, leaving bilateral inguinal scarring regions. how is this treated, massage to break it up, or surgery?

Scarring: I would leave well alone. Vit e cream may help but usually surgical correction is usually followed by more scarring.

May not need Rx: If the pain is gone and you are left with lumps or scars in the inquinal region, no treatment may be needed. These may reduce in size very gradually over time. If you have continued pain, tenderness, swelling, or fever, talk to your doctor about additional treatment.
