Yes. Absolutely: Enlarging masses in that area especially since it is in both armpits could be enlarging lymph nodes. There are a number of medical conditions that cause enlarged lymph nodes. A medical examination is important.

See physician: You should definitely see physician for exam and possibly imaging for clarification of these masses. It is not normal to have axillary masses of this dimension.

Definitely: It is important for any mass to be examined. Possible causes include enlarged lymph node, carbuncles, cyst, lipomas and cherry angiomas.

Yes, of course!: That sounds worry some to me. Have it checked out. If it is real then you have something serious going on. Grapefruit sized masses are not something to ignore.
