Unusual: Vesicare (solifenacin) is useful in managing overactive bladder and relaxes bladder muscle thus, if anything, should relieve bladder discomfort. Can cause abdominal pain secondary to constipation because it relaxes bowel muscle. Thus worth taking stool softener or laxative 2c if this relieves abdominal hurt. However, some people are unique in their response to medications, if so either wait ; see or change meds.
