A member asked:

To help heal facial scabs, should i be drinking more water and/or digesting certain foods?

Hydration: The best way to heal skin wounds is hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Both inside and out. Drink plenty of water, about 8 cups a day. Keep the broken skin hydrated or "gooey" as much as possible. I like using Bactroban (mupirocin) Ointment twice a day for the first week and then vasaline petroleum jelly 3 times a day until the skin is perfect.
