Alternatives: Alternatives are a local dental school, hospital based dental residency program or this site:http://www.Freedentalcare.Us/ try to set some money away on a regular basis for your dental care. Go slowly as you can afford it. The problem is that if you do nothing, everything continues to get worse resulting in even bigger expenses down the road and eventually loss of teeth and full dentures.

Two things: One, look for an "insurance" that sells you a reduce fee plan and a list of dentist that accept it. You are right, a traditional insurance is going to be too expensive for someone who already has cavities. Two, ask around your friends for referral to a dentist who is a soft touch. Look around his office for work you could do to trade for dental services. Then pay for a exam ; tx plan. X fingers.
