See a Neurologist: You should consult with a neurologist. There may be several raisons for the numbness. In the er, they probably exclude the possibility of an acute stroke that might also present with numbness of face and arm. If you had an mri, most likely there is no acute stroke. However, it depend on how they protocole the mri, you may have for example multiple sclerosis, that is not picked up by the scan.
