SPARINGLY: The small glasses of champagne to toast the wedding couple is fine, but would not exceed that. Alcohol interferes with the ability of white blood cells to fight infection, and in general is not a good fit with antibiotic treatment. A very limited amount should not cause a problem, but tying one on certainly might.

Is afrin enough of a decongestant when trying to get rid of sinus/ear infection, or do I need an oral decon too? Taking cefdinir, prednisone and a Zyrtec at night currently. Nasal congestion better but ears still clogged, little hearing out of ears?
