Maybe variable: The classic sciatic pain radiates down the buttock, posterior thigh into the top or bottom of the foot, but pain patterns are sometimes referred distally. Your pain may be due to a different mechanism, so, see a doctor, get examined, and maybe obtain MRI to evaluate.
