Can my follicles pick up growing from where they where if i stopped then started back taking clomid (clomiphene)?

Depends: If you just skipped one day of the Clomid (clomiphene) then the growth would continue. If it was longer than that then the growth of the follicle or multiple follicles will have been compromised.
