Trial of small sips: Of pedialyte, as small as 5 ml each time, every 5-10 minutes. If he tolerates, increase gradually. If not, have him seen by his pcp.

May need to be seen: If he seems somewhat better, you can start first with small, frequent amounts of pedialyte (better than straight water) . Give 1/2 oz, wait 30 minutes, then 1 oz, then wait 30 min. Keep increasing gradually if he tolerates it. If ok for 2-3 hrs, gradually start adding light foods. If he keeps vomiting, call your doctor.
