H2O2: This mouthwash at 1 to 3% hydrogen peroxide should not be harmful to infected tonsils.

Hydrogen peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide used as a mouth rinse will not cure or exacerbate infected tonsils, nor will it improve your oral health, so it's really money down the drain. Mouthwash of any sort is not a substitute for removing bacteria from your teeth/gums with floss and toothbrush. Please see your Dentist to discuss an effective oral hygiene program.
