Blood in stools: Painless blood in stool at age 28 and in the absence of any other symptoms (abdominal cramping, diarrhea, mucus) is most likely related to internal hemorrhoids as a result of constipation (hard stools, straining etc). We all have hemorrhoids and just dont know they are there unless we have symptoms. Usually creams and ointments along with correction of constipation/straining will suffice.
