Clear gel-like secretion (mucus?) with bright red blood in stool. should i be worried?

Bleeding: Blood in stool is never normal. It could be just bleeding from hemorrhoids, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, infection etc but it also could be caused by more serious condition like cancer. You should go to see a GI and get yourself checked.
