Short Stature: You have what is defined as short stature and there are a number of reasons that can happen. These range from hereditary to lack of growth hormone, in your case likely early puberty. At your age you need to get an x-ray to check for your bone age to see if your bones have finished growing, if they have not then tests can be done to see if their are any treatments. Likely finished: Your predicted height based on parental height would be 5'3" but that is just an estimate. Most women grow another 2-4 inches after their first menses and stop.If you have not grown in the last year or more you are likely finished. An x-ray of your wrist/hand could be studied for growth centers. If open, you might grow more, if closed, you are done.
