Allergy shots and hearing loss, are they related?

Not the shots: Upper airway allergy that involves the nose, naso-pharynx and ultimately the Eustachian tube may cause hearing loss. I doubt that immunotherapy (shots)would cause a hearing loss.

No: allergy shots are kind of vaccines, and act like them, so far I am not known of allergy shots directly affecting hearing as a side effect
